Who does the Kardeşim Association help?

The Kardeşim Association provides assistance to the distressed and needy worldwide, without discrimination based on religion, language, race, or sect. It extends both material and spiritual support to those affected by disasters, wars, natural calamities, oppression, and the struggles of hunger and deprivation.

What types of aid does your General Assistance cover?

Our General Assistance activities cover donations under five main categories: Voluntary Donations, Zakat Contributions, Alms, Redemption, and Fitrah. These donations are utilized either directly for the beneficiaries or to meet their needs

What is the difference between Zakat and Alms?

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam, requiring Muslims to give a portion of their wealth to the poor and needy once a year. Alms, on the other hand, are voluntary donations made at any amount or time, solely dependent on the individual's willingness.

What is Fidya and who is it given for?

Fidya is a donation given by Muslims who are obligated to fast but cannot do so due to valid reasons such as health issues. It is an amount given for each missed fasting day, enough to feed one needy person. Fidyas are collected for this purpose and distributed to the needy.

What is Foster Parenting for Orphans?

Fostering an orphan involves providing financial or moral support for a specified period or continuously, to assist in meeting the basic needs of an orphan such as education, healthcare, clothing, and shelter. Through such sponsorships, orphaned children have the opportunity to grow up in better conditions.
